Kathy spoke at our annual Women’s Retreat recently. Our group was so pleased with her Biblically based speaking. We also appreciated how available she made herself to the women over the course of the weekend. This was our church’s 43rd annual retreat and we had several women mention in their evaluations that this was their favorite one to date.

We love Kathy so much that we had her speak at two of our last three retreats. She continues to demonstrate a depth and authenticity that encourages women to be real, open and honest with God, themselves and each other. Her practical messages are coupled with a style that is both humorous and tender and allows God to work through her to deeply touch the hearts and lives of women who hear her speak.

Thank you for using your gifts to share with other women. God is using you in a wonderful way. Your path here has touched us all!! God bless you-you 1,000 Cow Woman!
Thank you even more for making yourself available to ladies during our “free time” Saturday. That is a first at our retreats. Blessing to you and Larry as you speak, write and travel wherever God sends you. Blessings galore.

Wow! What a wonderful tea! I was so blessed to see all that the Lord did in the lives of the ladies. You were such an important part of the evening’s success. You have such a compassionate heart for the ladies and as you were speaking this became very apparent to us all. Your message impacted the hearts of each of us. Thank you for being so generous with your relationship to our Lord. This was the best tea ever!
I wanted to let you know the results of the evening. We had four ladies receive Jesus as their Savior and seven rededications. Twenty-nine ladies forgave themselves and others. I feel so blessed by the Lord with the responses from the ladies.

“Thank you for being sooooo accommodating. There were times I thought ‘There truly must be something wrong, this woman is soooo easy to work with. Here I am without a clue what to do and our speaker is eager to change and go with the flow.’ When we stood waiting for our skit to begin (and you a part of it), then I realized that maybe most retreat coordinators weren’t as blessed as I was at that moment. I love you… I mean that. I love you for serving us. I love you for adapting your retreat materials to meet our needs. I really LOVE YOU for being approachable to our ladies. I feel that YOU loved us.”

[email protected] Thank you Kathy for coming and sharing with the ladies of the Women’s Connection for our Christmas Brunch. You are a great communicator and I loved your warm, pleasant “easy to listen to” message -“Prevent Christmas Stress from becoming Distress.” It was not only practical for this time of year but helpful in our busy every day schedules. I heard many good comments from the women and we were all challenged and blessed as you shared practical, Godly principles in a humorous way from the Word of God.

[email protected]Daughter of the King, now that is Kathy! We used “Daughters of the King” as our topic for our annual retreat, and Kathy lived it out in front of us the whole weekend. She was so well prepared, and so open to us as women, we just could not help but feel she was not only our special guest, but our special friend too! She taught us from the Word and loved us from her heart. Kathy was able to take the Scripture and make it applicable to every woman there, through her knowledge and study of God’s word. She made sure every woman there knew she too could be a princess, a Daughter of the King!

Kathy Collard Miller is a delight! Her smile immediately puts you at ease and then she captures your heart with profound biblical truths. Kathy takes you on a journey into personal growth and practical parenting skills and leaves you with a renewed desire to succeed in each area. Our parenting seminar was an enormous success in great part to Kathy’s ability to genuinely relate to every person in the room. Whatever the audience or topic, Kathy Collard Miller can professionally, yet personally, deliver the powerful message of Christ’s love.

THANK YOU for being who you are in our Lord!!! What an absolute delight and joy to meet and be with you. WOW!!! What a blessing you were to our women’s track. They loved you! The evidence of that was in 25 pre-registrations for the luncheon and 180 women showing up. Also the workshops averaged very high attendance, per session. PRAISE GOD!!
Even more important, the women say they were incredibly blessed.

We received such wonderful comments from the ladies who attended the Heart of the Home. They appreciated your topics as well as your practical applications. It was a joy to work with you and I know God will take the lessons you taught and multiply them in homes all over the Valley. It is so exciting to watch women take God’s Word and begin to apply it to their lives and the lives of their families.

Now that things are somewhat quiet, I wanted to share some of the glowing comments I received about you from our recent conference. High marks for you were reflected on the evaluation forms. Many indicated that they appreciated your availability during the free time and in the dining room. They felt you connected well with them and your messages were practical with everyday application. They appreciated the Biblical focus as you spoke on Philippians and one lady said, “I hung on her every word.” Many expressed how much they loved your messages and the illustrations.
Thank you for having a heart for women and people in general. Your ministry blessed many women and I was blessed to have you with us. It was my privilege to work with you and spend time with you and Larry. Personally, as I listened to you, I learned how important it is for a speaker to connect with her audience. You do that so well and I thank you for the learning experience.

I would like to thank you for making our 2002 Women’s Retreat a huge success. I am still receiving positive comments and notes from women who attended. Many have told me that it was like you were speaking directly to them as if no one else was in the room. One women wrote in her evaluation that the most helpful part of the retreat was, “A speaker that moved my spirit in a way that I rededicated my life to the Lord. I look forward to a growing relationship with the Lord. I never cried so much at such a happy
event.” Others have said how touched they were by you and your openness and bravery in regards to your own life. Kathy, you are truly a woman used by God to minister to women of all ages and circumstances. I appreciate how you made yourself so available to all our ladies. Thank you for taking the time to speak to them individually and personally. You are a joy to work with. Your promptness and availability made my job a joy. Thank you for
considering my input and molding a retreat that fit our ladies’ lives like a glove. I look forward to having you come again.

Thank you, Kathy, for such an enriching time together. The women have had
absolutely nothing but favorable comments about you as a speaker. On the women’s evaluations I asked them “what was the highlight of the retreat for you?” Here are some of their answers:
-How Kathy’s sharing impacted my relationship with my mother.
-All of what Kathy shared with us. She was so honest and open. She knew how to get down to the meat of the matter; it seemed as though God was speaking through her this whole weekend. She has incredible insight.
-Kathy as our speaker. Really good, accessible.
-Kathy’s method.
-The speaker zoomed right in on what the Lord has been dealing with me on.
-The speaker had wonderful practical applications.
-Kathy’s speaking was great. The best speaker we have had at a retreat. She is open, honest, and very knowledgeable.
-Visiting with the speaker in her room.
-Meeting with Kathy Saturday afternoon in her room, and the evening session.
And so it went on and on and on. Nothing but high marks from this crowd.
Then today, a woman stopped me in the parking lot a little while ago and commented how she believed you went above and beyond what was expected of you. You were so available to the women and it was so appreciated. “So many speakers speak and then disappear. Not Kathy!” was her parting comment.
Thank you, Kathy, for giving so much of yourself in such a delightful, insightful, personal, honest, serious, humorous, vulnerable, and unselfish way.

I would like to thank you so much for coming to speak to our women here at Victor Valley Christian Church. We were all blessed by all the things you shared. I have had several women come to me and thank me for asking you to speak. It was God all along, knowing what we need before we even know. You gave us so much wisdom and practical information. You were very helpful to personalize the issues that you spoke about and that makes a big difference. Now we can all relate to you and we can also understand that others struggle with the same issues and situations. Some of the situations you described, I thought you were talking about me! The 1% principle is just what we need to see some victory. Thank you for allowing God to use you as an instrument for His Glory. -Meredith Mott

[email protected]Kathy spoke at our Ladies Retreat in Pasadena, CA. She was such a pleasure to work with in preparation for our retreat. While we were there, she reminded us with her illustrations how much God loves us. She involved all the ladies and was honest, loving and fun. We learned many things we could take home and apply. One of our ladies said that she seemed like she knew Kathy all her life. She was so personal and down to earth. I would definitely recommend her as a speaker.

I feel very safe in saying that every woman in attendance this past weekend left the retreat with a new perspective: with eyes that look outward to a world so in need of God’s vision in their lives and inwardly to begin the healing process He so desperately wants to accomplish in their lives.
It is for this very reason, Kathy, that we all want to express our heartfelt appreciation for your honesty, your encouragement and your God-given ability to create an atmosphere where each one of us was able to relate our stories, accept our weaknesses, and then share them with the women in our immediate faith community. Because of this outpouring of genuine empathy, these women have established relationships that will blossom into real friendships and offer them the safe harbor needed by each one of them.
Here is a summary of the comments about what the women loved about your speaking: “The honesty with which she shared the most intimate of aspects about herself. Her testimony was very moving. The tools she offered each woman to change their perspective on everyday life in the areas of self, relationships and struggles. The challenges she extended to each woman, encouraging them to step out of their comfort zone and grow in Christ. Most women found the material to be insightful and useful. They were able to relate in many areas. She inspired them to draw nearer to God in different areas of their lives (humility, perfectionism, negative self-talk, selflessness and so on).”
Thank you!

Everyone I have talked to from the Retreat has said how much they got from your talks. Me too. You brought the Women of the Bible alive for us and showed us how to learn from them. You were accessible and real, we felt close to you, you got silly with us and you cried with us.
It has been a joy for me to work with you, Kathy. I so appreciate your blend of professionalism and personability! You paid attention to details and have been so prompt is replying to all our communications. God has used you, Kathy, in our lives.

As I watched our women listening attentively, copiously taking notes, laughing, and nodding their heads in agreement, I knew God had led me to just the right person for our Christmas Tea. Kathy Collard Miller is a delight! Just the right amount of theology, transparent sharing, and humor to make every woman walk away with the belief that she was speaking “just to her.” Her sharing of the Gospel is energetic, straightforward, and meaningful to women wanting a relationship with God in their lives everyday.
I was particularly impressed with her ability to mingle with the women, making every woman feel special. We are a small church and just getting our Women’s Ministry off the ground. Kathy truly was a blessing that our women won’t soon forget.

You are such a blessing! What a treat it was to have you with us – as we
had hoped, your presentation was the perfect beginning for the rest of our
year as you helped us consider the lavish love of our Heavenly Father for
us, His daughters. As you led us we laughed, cried, worshipped and
reflected on God’s free gift of love to us, binding us together in ways our
women will not soon forget. The feedback has been unanimous – God used you mightily!! Not only did you share your heart and your passion for Jesus with us, you gave us practical ways to apply the Biblical truths that you were
teaching. I also appreciated how available you were afterward to those
women who needed a little extra encouragement and love. Your compassionate heart is evident.
And Kathy, you are truly a pleasure to work with – from the very start you
provided us with everything we needed to ensure a successful event, you
actually arrived early (so reassuring!) and then made certain that your talk
fit perfectly into the time frame allotted to the evening. You made my job
very easy, and for that I thank you! I am confident that our paths will
cross again. Until then, I pray that our Lord will richly bless you and
those you love, and that “He will do immeasurably more than all you ask or
imagine” in your ministry, all for His glory!

You had everyone’s attention. You were able to draw them all into your presentation. It truly was wonderful and I have continued to hear great things from the husbands of the ladies that came (that is always a good thing!) I loved your body language and facial expressions! You took each person on a journey with you. You were dynamic, warm, sincere and overall awesome! We loved the cow sweater!

I recently had Kathy Collard Miller for our 10th annual Middle Tennessee Women’s Retreat. I am very careful to bring in not only good speakers, but also those who have a heart for women, who really do care…care enough to speak from their heart but also share their heart whether it be in the hallways, at the banquet tables or at their product table. Kathy was all that and more. We want to have her back!!!!

God has used your words to touch the hearts of the women this weekend. There has been laughter and fun and yet deep truths experienced. Listening to the conversations of the women, they have been talking about what you have shared. I think the women will continue talking with their friends about what they learned. This will encourage their personal application of the principles you’ve taught. Thank you for your time, prayer, and hard work in preparing for this weekend. God has given you a very special ministry.

Thank you once again for coming to speak at WINGS. Your topic “Finding Contentment in a Disappointing World” was so well received. The overwhelming majority of the evaluations came back so positive. Many requested to have you come back. You touched many heart strings today and inspired new ways of thinking. Some of the phrases that stick with me are “all things work for the good…” and “I am just a steward of God’s money and gifts.” May God continue to bless your ministry as you touch and positively change the lives of your fellow Christian brothers and sisters.

I am so pleased to recommend Kathy Collard Miller as a speaker. Kathy
holds the attention of her audience as she develops a theme, sticks to

I am still on a “spiritual high” from last week-end! I didn’t want it to be over. I only wish I could put into words what my heart is feeling. You ministered to me and the women of Ashland Avenue in a powerful way. I learned some things about myself I did not know. I believe that if I can apply the “1% Principle” you taught us, to even one area of my life, I can be more useable for God’s glory. Thank you for sharing your heart and life with us. I will be forever grateful that you came.
-Euelene Mabley

I watched you relate to the women and I really appreciated your availability and interest in the needs of people. Many speakers seem aloof and unapproachable, but you ministered and fellowshipped all weekend long. Thank you.

How can I ever thank you enough for ministering so powerfully to me personally and to all the women at the retreat? God knew a year ago when you agreed to come that it would be the perfect timing for you to minister to our specific needs. Thank you for being open to His leading. All the evaluations were extremely positive and I’m receiving personal notes from women thanking me for bringing you here! Not only are they appreciative that you are a wonderful speaker but that you were so open to ministering to each one individually.
-Liz Rao

Thank you so much for sharing at our Women’s Retreat last week. We are still talking about the wonderful weekend we spent together learning from you. The things you taught and shared touched so many of us; we will never be the same. Our ladies left refreshed, and with renewed insights on just how they could be God’s “Rose in Full Bloom.”
-Marcia Anderson

Thank you so much for the two sessions you spent with our women. I know the things you had to say will impact our women for years to come. Several women, some in tears, expressed to me that your message was just what they needed to hear and I’m grateful for your willingness to share it with us. I also want to thank you for making my job so easy! You are truly the consummate professional. You were there right on time, took time to get acquainted with our moms, remained exactly within the time frame I gave you for speaking, and handled those sticky questions so very well. You are a real pro!

-Ruth Rogers

Thank you so much for a beautiful job speaking at our Women’s Conference! We have had nothing but positive comments. You really ministered to all of our women in one way or another. I’m going through the evaluation forms and the ladies expressed what a great speaker and motivator you are! Your applications for life were important. We have had many requests for more of your books and tapes.
-Charlene Layne

I very much enjoyed being with you this weekend. You are delightful. I know your message spoke to many women. I read the evaluations last night and so many positive comments were made. No negatives!! So many women said they were touched by your messages, and that what you had to say was just what they needed. The 1% principle was mentioned several times. At least two said they abuse their children and you were very helpful and inspiring to them. What a redemption story! Thank you for sharing that part of your life. You are gifted and blessed.
-Pam MacRae
Director of Women’s Ministries
Moody Bible Institute
What a delight you are! You are such an encourager. At church this morning there were many wonderful comments. Some were very general.
“She was the best one we ever had.” |
|
“Why have we never had her before now?” |
|
“Her message was one that anyone could relate to.” |
Some comments were more specific –
“She shared some really heavy subjects but her main message was her dependence on God.” |
|
“She was such an easy speaker to listen to and switched easily from the serious to the humorous.” |
One lady was telling me how much she enjoyed the evening and another lady was eavesdropping and asked what we were talking about. The first lady began to recount your message in great detail! I thought that was pretty good. So many have expressed what a special evening it was for them and how God used you to speak to them.
-Linda Gilden, “Ladies First Thursday”

Thank you, Kathy, for a wonderful MOPS Morning!! You were so greatly received. I had so many Moms come thank me for “finding” you. I thank God for you. I know He is using you in such a mighty way to speak to the hearts of women. I know that many of our MOPS Moms are very strong Christians, and your talk had very special meaning for them; but I also know that many of our Moms do not know Jesus personally. These are the Moms we are praying to reach in this session of MOPS, and I know without a doubt that you touched their hearts deeply.
